I'll be sharing it with others whenever the topic of wabisabi comes up. I think you've hit the nail on the head as regards TRUE wabisabi in a non-japanese context (as opposed to commercial rip-offs of Japanese culture) Keep up the wonderful work!

--MikeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2612861331409300401.post-91642876343620319902011-03-29T03:58:49.655+01:002011-03-29T03:58:49.655+01:00I find it soothing and compelling at the same time...I find it soothing and compelling at the same time...a tension is created by the strength of the verticals...and the title is provacative luring me in...for a closer look.
terrific size too.Donna Iona Drozdahttp://donnaionadrozda.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2612861331409300401.post-37412937318674141842011-03-27T16:10:51.437+01:002011-03-27T16:10:51.437+01:00I loooove color and texture!!!!I loooove color and texture!!!!elena nuezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06726171914476074115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2612861331409300401.post-28225890591251359982011-03-24T13:24:25.939+00:002011-03-24T13:24:25.939+00:00I found it dark and a bit suspenseful, but what is...I found it dark and a bit suspenseful, but what is wrong with that? I particularly love typography in a work of art but you need to make sure they all have a reason for being there.

Another person commented earlier that it reminds them of a shipyard and I was thinking along those lines to , due to the colours and the military style numbers, all which took me back to WWII.

Do not give up and definitely try again. Look at the elements you select the next time and see what sort of story they tell you and then convey it to us.

Hope it helps.

Warmest regards,
EgmontThe Artist Within Ushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08081658641380811738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2612861331409300401.post-80688623758934714262011-03-24T00:41:32.627+00:002011-03-24T00:41:32.627+00:00I like this very much..Rich in color.
