After a long illness my father passed away in January this year. I hope that perhaps somewhere now he is now able to enjoy his art and the abstract painting that he had been unable to pursue recently.

Deepest condolences.
I very much enjoyed seeing the pieces that your father would post here. He was a talented artist, and so generous in sharing his works with us.
My heartfelt condolences. I have enjoyed seeing Ian's work here on his blog. I'm sure he's now painting and photographing to his heart's content.
His art was an inspiration to older artists like myself. He must have had a wonderful life.
Thank you for letting us know. Ian had a fine eye for art and beauty. He is missed.
Heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
Any time a blog becomes quiet, there's always the concern that life has been disrupted for some reason or another, and there's always hope, that one is just busy, blogs usually are one of those time luxuries that get left off for other things...
I am so sorry for your loss, it was always a pleasure and inspiration to visit Ian's blog.
I am so sorry for your loss. I already missed him. When Ian gave you a "Bravo!" as comment you knew you did it well.
pretty nice blog, following :)
Your father was a lovely man and a wonderful artist. I consider myself fortunate to have known and exhibited with Ian. He was quite self deprecating and I genuinely think he did not realise how good his abstracts were. He once asked me to teach him to paint like I did (not quite so abstract); for the life of me I couldn't think of how to do this as his work was where I wanted to be myself. I eventually managed to convince him how much I admired his work as it was, but not until after a bit of unconvinced harrumphing on his part!
Many condolences to you and all Ian's family.
I am so sorry for your loss. I followed your dads blog a number of years ago and so admired his work.
My condolences, and I appreciate your letting his blog readers know. Take care.
I am so saddened to hear this news.. To me...your father was such a kind and thoughtful artist of such great talent.. I will miss his pensive posts, his self deprecative way and his fierce minimalistic eye.. Thank you for letting us know. I send my heartfelt condolences.. Caterina
Nothing ruins the lines of a suit or blazer and makes you look more like a doofus than when your pockets are crammed with stuff - a wallet, a cell phone, keys, a calculator, a calendar, pens, etc.

Great post as usual! Also I'd add my two cents on accessories. Think about minimalist slim wallet. Nothing ruins the lines of a suit or blazer and makes you look more like a doofus than when your pockets are crammed with stuff - a wallet, a cell phone, keys, a calculator, a calendar, pens, etc.
